- Abigail Williams: Uncle is Reverend Parris. A young 17 year old girl who is manipulative. "It is a whore!" (Proctor, Act 3). She is the girl who has an affair with John Proctor. She manipulates everyone into thinking there are witches and even convinces the town that John Proctor's wife is a witch to get vengeance on John.
- John Proctor: Married to Elizabeth Proctor. "I've never thought you but a good man John.. only somewhat bewildered." (Elizabeth, Act 2). John is a good man. However he made a mistake with Abigail Williams and had an affair with her. This affair caused him many problems and even caused him his death.
- Reverend Parris: Abigail's Uncle. Is the minister to the of the Salem church. "I see no light of god in him." (Proctor, Act 2). Parris is a selfish man and care more about his own reputation than he cares for others. He called witchcraft and lied about what really happened in the woods to save himself from ruining his reputation.
