Storyboard Text

  • During a raid against an opposing faction, Clovis ordered his men to sack the city. However, upon looking at a vase in the church, Clovis was reasonable and gave it back to the Bishop that orignally had it. This shows that Clovis could be a good person that respected other's customs.

  • In talks with the son of Sigibert, he convinces him to kill his father in order to become king. This shows that while he is manipulative, he is also strategic and clever.

  • After a solider had destroyed the vase that Clovis saved for the Bishop, he took matters into his own hands by killing the soldier. This shows that Clovis has his way of making sure he stays respected and keeps his army loyal to him.

  • After his firstborn died after being baptized, Clovis went to his wife to mock her christian beliefs, and claimed their son died due to his baptism. This shows that Clovis could be mean and stubborn when things didn't go his way.

  • During a battle against Alemanni's army, Clovis saw that his chances of winning were low. So in a last ditch effort, Clovis prayed to Jesus for prosperity in his soldiers upcoming challenges. His prayers were ansewred, and his army won the day. This shows that while Clovis can be stubborn, he is willing to reason and listen and cares about his people.
