- Every summer, I would work seasonally at the Quaaout Lodge, as a hostess in the restaurant. After finding out that the resort had burned down one day in May, I was devasted, but in addition, I had to find a new place to work during the summer. It demonstrated to me that chnage is constant and being adaptable is crucial.
- Oh no! This is horrible! But to make matters even worse, I won't have anywhere to work this summer!
- That's wonderful!
- Since I was little, I've loved the idea of becoming a pastry chef. However, as I continued to get older, I started to realize that baking wasn't a career as much as it was a hobby. While this was hard to admit, I did find that I started to find Law very interesing as it aligned with my personality. This taught me the importance of following your heart.
- Mom, I 'm really interested in Law. I think I'd like to learn about it more.
- Throughout, what seemed like, all of high school, I had been focused on the grades I received, however, once I started to see the value in working collaboratively and learning new things, I was able to enjoy the academic part of school a bit more.
