- Taxes were implemented on the people of the 18th century because of contibutions to the war and court luxuries.
- Tennis Court Oath
- The periodic crises took great shots at the people. Bad harvests,a slowdown in manufacturing,risisng food prices, and unemeployment all contributed to the essential crises of starvation. Starvation was prominet during these times amongst the Third Estate.
- Storming the Bastille
- Enlightenment ideas were a key part of the revolution, as to why the revolution was fought. Ideas such as a new formed heigharchy ,The Declaration of the Rights of Man. In this stated ideas from enlightenment philosophies.
- Women's March to Versallies
- A meeting of action was called by the king. The voting system was flawed because the Third Esate had only one vote as a whole that easily outnumbered the Third Estate. The Third Estate (National Assembly) proclaimed the start of a constitution. The doors locked, they swore they wouldnt leave til they had eqality.
- The Third Estate stormed the Bastille.King Louis XVI refused the concerns of his people. The people wanted more of a voice but Louis.They first went to Hotel Des Invalides in order to arm themselves.On July 14th, they demanded that Governor de Launay surrender the prison and gun powder.
- On October, 1789, women wanted bread for their families, they rounded up women mostly and some men to march to Versailles. The king agreed to distribute bread to them and their families. The National Guard arrived to take the King to Paris. Marie Antoinette barley escaped through a passage.
