  • America's government before revolution was a Monarchy led by King George III and afterwards they used the Articles of Confederation and were Democratic Republic.

  • France's government before revolution was a Monarchy led by King Louis XVI and afterwards they used the French Constitution and were a republic.
  • America and France had many of the same reasons to revolt. Their main reasons to revolt were because they didn't want a monarchy, they wanted to be represented in decisions, and they felt unfairly taxed.
