- Dineo Speak with Mr Msomi
- Sir, the workers are complaining about their wages. They are not happy with the treatment from management
- We will organise a meeting with the management
- At the meeting
- I am here to represent the grievances of the employees concerning their wages.
- During this period of Covid pandemic, our employee hours have been cut to prevent contamination of the virus. we seen no reason why their wages should be increase
- At the meeting
- But Msr Loren!
- We won't increase the wages!!
- The Shop steward meet the trade union organiser to talk about the complaints of the miners workers.
- In the Kitchen
- Do you think the management will listen to Dineo and he will succeed to convince them?
- Dineo expose all the request from the workers to management, reminding them the Basic conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997 which protects the rights of employees to enjoy minimum conditions of employment such as wages
- In Mr Msomi office
- I went to the management and told them about the issues that workers are facing. they refuse to increase the wages
- The management made it clear that the company will not do any changes, and won’t increase the wages.
- In Mr Msomi office
- OK Mr Msomi, I will make sure that we do that until we get we what we want
- Since they don’t want to listen to us, the only way we can deal with them is to start striking. Now get the workers together and tell them that we will start to strike soon.
- The employees wonder if Dineo will succeed to convince the management.

- Dineo go back to the union organiser office to give a feedback of the meeting with management
- The Union decided to tell the shop steward to get together all the workers so that they can start to strike.
