- The Jews were being hunted in opressed in their own country and they lost every human right. They were taken from their own homes and businesses to be taken to the concentration camps.
- Jews were forced to follow the rules of the German Army, they did extremely heavy work and the consequences of not obeying were very heavy punishments and even death.
- The holocaust, which literally meant "sacrifice by fire" was the name given to the execution of the Hebrews in exorbitant numbers, they lived in dire conditions and many died from these conditions.

- There were four types of camps:1. Concentration Camps.2. Prisioner-of-war camps.3. Transit camps.4. Forced labor camps.
- Anne Frank and their family had to hide because they were being hunted by the German Army because they were Jews, so they stayed in a little house, cramped, hidden by a friend of their family.
- Anne Frank wrote everything she experienced while hiding, but they were found by the Germans and taken to concentration camps.
