- I’m John Adams. I had to fill as many spot in office as possible before my enemy, Thomas Jefferson, takes my place.
- Now that it is my office the 4 people who didn’t get their certificate wont get it EVER! They will never get the job.
- I’m Thomas Jefferson. Now remove yourself from this office, it is now mine
- William Marbury
- GIVE ME MY CERTIFICATE OF MY JOB OR I AM SUEING AND TAKING THIS STRAIGHT TO THE SUPREME COURT!!
- I’m sorry but Thomas Jefferson said I am not allowed to give them to you or the others who didn’t receive them.

- Today our three main issues to discuss are: Did Marbury have the right to his certificate? If they did have a right; did federal law provide a remedy? Finally, was an order from the U.S. Supreme Court the right remedy to solve the problem?
- We believe Marbury had a right to his certification and this rights were violated when Thomas Jefferson denied him his certification., so Marbury had a right to sue
- You bringing this to court is unconstitutional
- This is a small case; should have and could have been dealt within the smaller sections of court
- Overall, Marbury wins!!
- This finally means that the Supreme Court can overrule acts of congress. This is momentous!!
