- No I don't but my vape is good because it's filled with water vapor.
- Why are you vaping? Do you know what it does to your body?
- Oh, I didn't know that.
- That's not right. Vapes have different liquids in them but the biggest one is nicotine. Nicotine is highly addictive and can cause serious brain damage.
- Yeah, I'm down. Let's go now.
- It seems like you don't know too much about vaping. I learned a lot about it in my health class so I can teach you about it. Do you want to talk in the park?
- Wow, that's scary!
- Like what?
- Well, you can get diseases like lung cancer and brain cancer. Also, you can get high blood pressure. These are only a couple of risks but there are a lot more.
- First off, there are a lot of health problems that could occur with vaping.
- Why have you been vaping?
- That sounds really tough. But surprisingly, it is common.
- Oh no, I didn't know it was that bad. How many middle schoolers?
- For middle schoolers, it's 4.9%.
- We learned that 20.8% of high schoolers, just like us, used e-cigarettes in the past 30 days.
- My best friends starting doing it about 2 months before I started. They were constantly telling me to vape and then I couldn't take it anymore. My besties easily got it from the corner store so I felt better.
