- The little girl on the train
- Regina is on a train leaving Ottawa to visit her grandparents in Toronto. She waves goodbye to her parents and thinks about how they refer to her complexion as light as a deer and her personality is sweet like candy. The train takes off making a whistling sound like it's singing.
- Her teddy bear Coco sits next to her. Then an old pale lady pushes Regina's teddy bear to the floor making a thud. Then the lady says "I'm Ms. Riverson" and Regina says "I'm Regina".
- Ms.Riverson then asked Regina where she was born and where she comes from. Regina said "I'm from here, Ottawa" not knowing what Ms. Riverson meant. Then all of a sudden Ms.Riverson said back "in my day we didn't have anyone that looked like you".
- Ms. Riverson continues to say "I think it's just wrong". Regina then got confused and she said "what do you mean people like me?". Ms.Riverson says "you know your colour".
- Regina says "I am born here and so were my parents". "I mean your parent's background. Where do their parents come from to make you that colour" says Ms. Riverson.
