- Pax always had a creative imagination, living on the streets as a child was not easy either so he used his stories to calm himself down. One example was when he was in jail and imaging a human bird he saw on a poster with Kai once. “Young king climbed onto the feathery back of Goddess Girl, part bird, part girl,” (163) “He felt something. It surged through him with such speed it left him breathless with wonder, and on its heels… happiness.” (164)
