- Sept 1938: Munich Conference

- March 9, 1935,Hitler created a new German air force. He then created a draft increasing army from 100K to 550K and these were both violations of the Treaty of Versailles.
- Aug 1939: Nazi-Soviet Nonaggression Pact signed
- Now let's finally end this.
- In Oct of 1936, Mussolini & Hitler create new alliance known as the Rome-Berlin Axis. Then in Nov of 1936, Germany and Japan created an alliance against communism known as the Anti-Comin tern Pact, which later turned into the Axis Powers and involved Italy.
- Sept 1, 1939: Germany invades Poland

- Conference arranged in Munich between Germans, British, French, & Italian representatives to deescalate the situation.
- Sept 3, 1939: Great Britain & France declare war

- August 23, 1939, Germany & Soviet Union sign the Nazi-Soviet Nonaggression Pact. Both countries promised not to attack each other side deal , Stalin could have control of eastern Poland & the Baltic states.
