- I know that this is person vs. person because Betsy and Amelia are both girls, or people having a disagreement on the things Lyddie should be able to read.
- The fact alone that Lyddie doesn't even have a right to say no to going to church, and the fact that this is a requirement to be a factory girl explains the struggle between her and the demands of society.
- A bear is very well a part of nature, and the effect this particular one had on the layout of the story, and on Lyddie and her family was incredible.
