We arrived home and immediatly she threw herself in bed and turned on the news and cried the whole entire time
I was wondering why they had turned the news on so early. Usually we always watched around 6pm but it was only 4pm and they were watching it.
Then i saw it. My uncle had died in a helicopter crash and they gave an early report on it. He had died at 9am.
Everyone was crying in their homes because he was a radio producer in El Salvador and they all love him very much.
My aunt called my mom telling her they were gonna meet up for lunch that day. He forgot... he wasn't gonna let this opportunity go.
My dad was in the kitchen feeding my brother and my mom was asleep. I couldn't keep my feelings bottled up anymore and i cried, it was the first time i had cried for something other then a scratch, this felt like a tear
My parents were trying to relax after hours of crying. I sat there enjoying there company realizing life was to short to waste it all.
