  • Ancient Greece is a peninsula covered in many large mountains in the Aegean Sea
  • The Affair
  • The Ancient Greeks had bad land to farm anything so they set to sea and became excellent sailors for resources from other lands.
  • The Ten Year Battle
  • The Ancient Greeks learned many things from other lands, for example, the Greeks took on the Olympics from the Pelops in western Peloponesse
  • The Trojan
  • The prince of Troy named Paris would visit Greece and had fallen in love with the queen, Helen. Paris took Helen to Troy and had a secret love affair. The king of Greece had noticed his wife was missing and had got the word that his wife was taken to Troy.
  • This love affair caused a ten-year battle between the Greeks and Trojans. The Greeks were unable to conquer the Trojans because they had very high walls.
  • The Greeks came up with the plan of building a giant Trojan horse. They snuck inside the horse and when the Trojans let the horse through the gates they attacked and won.
