At school, I do lots of fun activities and worksheets during class.

I really like to do science activities and worksheets!
Sometimes when I am doing worksheets by myself, I get stuck or don’t know what to do. This is ok.
Sometimes when I get stuck, I get frustrated and start to blurt out to get my teachers attention. This distracts my classmates from being able to do their own work.
I dont get it!
I know that when I get stuck, there are better ways to ask for help.
I can quietly ask a classmate for help.
Sometimes my classmates are able to help me.
Sometimes my classmates also get stuck and are not able to help me.
When this happens, there is someone else that I can ask for help.

I can quietly raise my hand and wait for my teacher to help me.
Sometimes she is busy and can’t help me right away. She might be working on something at her desk or helping a classmate with their worksheet.
This is ok because I know that she will help me when she is done with what she is doing.
While I wait, I can work on the next problem.
When my teacher comes over and helps me, I make sure to ask, “Can you please help me?”
Can you please help me?
When she is done helping me, I say “thank you”.
Thank you!
Next time I get stuck on a worksheet or activity, I will raise my hand and ask for help.
