  • BY SHEEZA ADIL, VLADIMIR, and AUSTIN LI
  • Dad side of DNA has sickle cell anemia
  • This is a sickle cell which occurs due to being passed down from dad's side.
  • This shows sickle cells blocking the veins because of their deformed shape
  • This condition is mostly passed down from parent to child or can happen due to genetic mutations. This can be treated with blood transfusion by adding normal cells and taking out sickle cells.
  • After the blood transfusion the cells can move like normal without sickle cells and risk of strokes
