  • Soil is the loose surface material that covers most of the land. Soil provides the structural support to plants and is also their source of water and nutrients. There are 13 mineral nutrients that come from the soil, are dissolved in water and absorbed through the plant's roots.
  • Nitrogen is important in the growth of plants because it contains chlorophyll. This is the green pigment that is responsible for photosynthesis.; This helps promote the green leafy growth.
  • Potassium deficiency- Plants with a potassium deficiency have a tendency to wilt on dry sunny days. Because of this, the plant will appear wilted or drooping. To correct this, you can spread some organic mulch beneath the plants and potassium fertilizer.
  • Calcium deficiency- This is a plant disorder that has an insufficient level of calcium to the plant. This usually happens because the transpiration is low due to water shortages.
  • This is a result of low Transpiration,
  • I don't understand what happened.
  • Stomata is the pore in the leaf or stem of a plant.
  • A couple examples of the deficiencies in plants and how to identify the differences.
  • Commercial agriculture is when food is produced for sale. It includes selling to restaurants, supermarkets, wholesale distributors, local produce stands and more.
  • Grower- Responsible for growing crops which involves managing their growing environment to keep them healthy. They plant seeds, fertilize and irrigate crops.
