- Once upon a time, there lived a mermaid named Rosalina and her big sister Jasmine. They lived in the City Of Atlantis deep within the ocean. Rosalina and Jasmine were really close and loved each other very much. Rosalina even looked up to her sister as a role model. They did many things together. Jasmine would bring Rosalina with her when she went to hang out with friends and they would even swim together in their school hallways in between classes.
- Yeah of course I'll do your homework.
- Even though both girls were good, one stood out more than the other. Jasmine was beloved by all the merfolk in the ocean. She was often the center of attention everywhere she went. Many of the merfolk would praise her and do nice gestures for her. And she in return would do things for others as well.
- Everything was fine until Rosalina started slowly becoming envious of her older sister. She wanted the same love and attention her sister got. But she was always treated as if there was nothing special about her. As a result, Rosakina started to do things to get people's attention.
- She would do others' homework even if she had a lot of her own, pay for things that others wanted even though she wanted to spend the money on something she wanted, talk badly about others even if she knew nothing about them, and would act extra nice to people even if she did not like them
- ven with all her efforts, she was still never satisfied. She would expect others to do things for her because she did so many thanks for them. When she would get some form of attention or validation from others she would immediately seek out more. She felt like there was something off. She wondered why she was so unsatisfied. Her sister jasmine noticed this and went to go talk to Rosalina. She asked her little sister why she wanted these things so much, and if it was what she really needed.
- Rosalina thought about the question but did not have an answer. She was not sure why she was so focused on others’ thoughts and opinions. She just felt insecure about herself and wanted the same things her sister did. At that moment Jasmine realized the problem her sister was having. Thankful for what her sister said, Rosilena took her sister’s advice. She worked on self-care and became more self-aware. Sooner or later she started to have a better relationship with her pers and lived happily ever after.
