- THE ARMISTICE AGREEMENT
- The Treaty of Versailles officially ended WWI. The treaty stated that Germany must disarm itself, give up all control, and they had to admit that the war was their fault. The treaty was signed by Germany, Britain, America, Italy, and Japan.
- By the end of the war, everyones troops were tired of fighting, as a consequnce, many of Germany allies were withdrawing. Once Germany realized they were unable to win, they talked to the government to bring the war to an end. Thye signed the armistice and had to move their troops behind amd surrender all their military weapons.
- There were two alliances during World War One, the Allied Powers (Left) and the Central Powers (Right). When war happens both partys allies join them in the fight.
- A telegraph was sent from Germany to Mexico was intercepted by America. In the telegraph, the Germans asked the Mexicans to go to war with the US and promised them land. This telegraph caused the US to enter WW1 against Germany and the Central Powers.
- The assasination of the Archduke of Austria was the spark of WWI, because they declared war on Serbia.
