My name is Zhulin Li, and I am from China. My father set up a company related to electricity energy-saving technology for oil production in Daqing, a small city in China. This helped me set my fundamental goal to analyze the entire sustainable economy, especially in sustainable finance and renewable industry.
My undergraduate school is George Washington University. I major in business with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics. During my undergraduate, I was interested in the ESG aspect. I was a research assistant at GWU Investment Institute. I analyzed Disney's financial quantitative research and focused on the ESG strategy. Due to my interests in ESG, renewable energy, and sustainability, I am now a first-year graduate student of MS in Sustainability Management at Columbia University.
I had an internship at a green finance institute in China. I authored an article titled "Green finance supports the development of environmental-sustainable industry," deepening my knowledge of sustainable finance and the broader sustainable industry landscape. Recently, I plan to co-found an online social media account, "Rich Sister." I aim to engage with the public and promote sustainable development, with a strong focus on climate change and green finance, leveraging the popularity of platforms like WeChat and Red in China.
