- "We gotta get a big stake together. I know a little place we can get cheap, but they ain't givin' it away."
- "George, how long's it gonna be till we get that little place an' live on the fatta the lan'--an' rabbits?"
- This interaction was the first time Lennie and George met Curly and it wasn't a good one. George took up Lennie when curly kept messing with him so this represents Friendship
- You guys travel around together?
- Sure, we kinda look after each other. He aint bright. Hell of a good worker, though
- Lennie talked to Crooks about them saving up money to buy a house and crooks wanted to come along. The reason he wanted to come along was because he is lonely at the barn because of his skin color. And he felt like he wanted to leave this place
- He's my cousin..... I told his old lady I'd take care of hi,. He got kicked in the head by a horse when he was a kid. He's awright. Just ain't bright
- Well i never seen one gut take so much trouble for another guy. I like to know what your interest is
- George and Lennie have been saving up money because they plan on leaving together on a farm with rabbit and leaving Lennie to be able to take care of themselves. This was there "dream"
- I had enough. You got no rights comin' in a colored man's room. You got no right messing around in here at all. Now you jus' get out, an' get out quick
- Listen, Nigger," you know what i can do to you if you open your trap? I could get you strung up on a tree so easy it aint even funny.
- This represented championship because people didn't understand why they were traveling together so George explained that Lennie couldn't take care of himself
- George and Lennie went to the boss to get hired on the farm and George told lennie not to talk. Lennie only good quality is his strength. His disability makes him powerless though.
- Crooks tried to stand up for himself when Curly's wife was causing drama. Crooks race give him a barrier because if curley' wife tells the boss that crooks did something. they'd most likely wouldn't believe him
