The narrator and the old man got along well and he loved the old man, but it wasn't the old man who made the narrator mad it was his eye. The narrator hated his eye because the narrator thought it watched him.
The narrator had made up his mind to get rid of the old man's eye forever. The narrator very cautiously came up the old man's house for seven long night.
On the 8th night he opened his lantern and shone it on the old man and it was finally time. The narrator attacked. He picked up and put the old man's mattress over the him and suffocated him until he was dead.
The narrator cut up the old man's organs and body parts and stuffed them under the floorboards . Then police come to the old man's house because the neighbour had complain that they have heard a scream.
The narrator started to hear things but the police man did not. The narrator couldn't take the hearing anymore and then he confesses that he killed the old man and told the cops to open the three planks were the narrator had put the chopped body parts of the old man.
