- Jin betrays his best friend Wei-Chen by kissing his girlfriend. Jin broke the trust in their relationship and lost Wei-Chen. Jin said rude things to Wei-chen later, causing the betrayal to be much worse. Betrayal is always harder between friends.
- Transformation
- NOWTHAT IV'EREVEALEDMY TRUEFORM,
- PREHAPS,IT IS TIMETO REVEALYOURS. . .
- Jin and Wei-Chen's friendship is very close because Wei-Chen agrees to lie for Jin, which is very hard for him. Lying is the one thing Wei-Chen shouldn't do, but by doing it, it proves how close of friends Jin and Wei-Chen are.
- Violence
- BOOM!
- The herbalist explains identity quite well. Anyone can become what they want, but they have to be comfortable with sacraficing their character. Identity is how someone presents themself; Jin wants to be a transformer. The herbalist says he can be whatever he wants; he just needs to be willing to do whatever it takes.
- Empathy
- The Monkey King accepted his monkey form and original self. Transformation is the changing of something. He then tells Jin to accept his true form, not someone else's. So, Jin transforms back to being Jin from Danny.
- The Monkey King uses violence to solve his problems. He fights the demons to save the emassary. Even though he saved the emassary, using violence to solve problems shouldn't be the first way to solve it.
