- Characters Alfredo Salazar and Esperanza develop a romantic relationship over time. Whereas Esperanza is perfect for everyone, Alfredo is a lawyer who seeks happiness in life and believes in real love. Family friends for a while, the two couples eventually fall in love. When Alfredo overhears his family talking about his inability to marry Esperanza at their home, things take a bad turn because he is becoming less and less interested in the woman.
- Now that he and Julia are becoming closer and more comfortable with one another, Esperanza can sense Alfredo's absence from her side. However, Alfredo refutes this, assuring her sweetheart that he is just distracted by some personal matters.
- Julia, good evening. I mistook you for someone else. It's also said that the Judge will go with you.
- When Alfredo and Julia first met in the evening on the square, things started to get intense. Julia immediate congratulations left Alfredo speechless. He was also taken a back by how quickly she had leaned the truth, which had rendered him powerless because he felt that this might be their only chance and that they would never have time for one another again.
