- Hi Meera actually I am starting a business of notebooks so I am here to take an idea what should I do first so can you help me.
- Oh great let me help you so first the notebook you are making you should calculate the perimeter of each notebook but first you should understand what is perimeter.
- Ok so what is perimeter?
- Perimeter is the distance around the outside of a 2D shape, come with me I will show you an example.
- ok So what is this ?
- This is a big playground this has a rectangular shape now if we take our Ruler and see the length and the breath what would be the answer?
- I think the length would be 8cm and breath would be 5cm is that correct?
- Correct now can you make the sum of them double time
- ok hmm 8+8+5+5=26 got it, it is 26 cm, this is the perimeter of this playground, Thankyou meera
