Storyboard Text

  • Rainsford is known as a game hunter and he was traveling on a boat and he falls into the water after flowing the sound of someone yelling. He then ends up on a random island and is trapped. The texts says "Again he heard the sound, and again". This is important because it shows that someone is on the island.
  • Climax
  • Rainsford was wandering through the woods and meets General Zaroff and he invites him into the house but Zaroff hunts humans. Here the story says "Tonight you and I will hunt". This makes Rainsford feel uncomfortable and makes him want to leave.
  • Falling Action
  • Rainsford is being hunted in the woods by General Zaroff and he must survive to escape the island and he sets traps up. In the story, Rainsford thinks "Perhaps he is the devil". This is an important part because this leads to Rainsford changing his mindset for the better.
  • Resolution
  • Rainsford is being hunted down once again by General Zaroff and he jumps into the water and then makes his way back to the General's house. In the text, it says "He leaped into the water". Rainsford does this to convince Zaroff that he is already taken care of!
  • Rainsford is waiting for General Zaroff in his bedroom. In the text, it says "One of us is to furnish a repast for the hounds. The other will sleep in this very excellent bed". From this, we can assume that Rainsford kills Zaroff.
  • After feeding the dogs Rainsford goes back to the bedroom and falls asleep. Here it says "I've never slept in a better bed". Now that Zaroff is dead he is no longer capable of killing any more people. THE END!
