- You must be new here. My name is Luke. I can show you around. What is your name?
- Yes, I am new here. My name is Salem. It´s nice to meet you!
- That's awesome that you are new. What do you like to do for fun? Do you play any sports?
- I play softball, basketball, and volleyball. I am also very involved with FFA, 4-H, and cows
- Wow, that is cool! Well, by looking at your schedule this is your first class of the day. Pre-Calculus!
- I love math. This class is going to be fun! Before class starts can you show me where the athletic fields are?
- Yes, of course. Here is the gym. This is where you will play basketball and volleyball. But wait, which sport of yours is your favorite?
- Well, I love them all three, but softball is my favorite. I play travel softball, and I am actually signed to play softball in college at UNCG!
- Wow, that is amazing! Here is the softball field! Did you have any special awards or honors at your last school?
- Yes I did. They where all such an honor to receive. Last year, I won Pitcher of the Year for our conference and our district. I was also named to the All-Conference, All-District, and All-State teams.
- Those are really big accomplishments. Congratulations! We are back to your first period. Have a great day at school. I will see you around.
