- I can feel the Plasmondium Viviax bursting into my liver and blood stream. :(
- Our Book starts with Dr. Ralph Emmerson in a trench with malaria. He was very sick and had nothing to treat himself with. this led him to have to just lay there or move along. Him along with another few thousand men had malaria, sadly there was no medication available at the time.
- We switch our perspective to the people in the camp who were captured during battles. these men are mostly sick and incapable of escaping. There are about 300 soliders in this camp but they all are overly outnumbered by Japanese.
- POW Camp
- I want to see my family but I could never escape
- HELP! We are innocent and this is a war crime!
- I feel ill.
- We are now in the conference room of General Walter Krueger. He did not know about this and is shocked. he knows that he cant send too many soldiers into the camp because they the camp is very well guarded and troops would die. a sergeant argues that troops must be sent to save the POWs
- We must try to save these men. they are our own soildgers.
- I can't allow too many troops. i ca only allow a few dozen max.
- This is a training camp, the general was not able to send many troops so Colonel Henry Mucci is in charge of training mere farmers and normal men into hardcore guerrilla warfare rangers.
- WE MUST TAKE OVER THE CAMP!!
- YES SIR!
- We must attack from the dark, we cannot lose men.
- I agree, we do not have many troops to spare.
- I suggest you all attack soon because the camp soon going to be out of rations.
- A few weeks after the men are ready and the planning for the raid begins. Colonel Henry Mucci, Claire Phillips and Captain Prince talk about how they will attack and discuss intel. Claire is wearing japanese clothes because she is a spy and is continously giving the army intel.
- Henry and Claire arrive at the camp to scout and see what is happening before they attack. they are met with tons of sick people who are dying and being brutalized in every way.
