Ralph Lane set up an expedition for the English that he led to establish a colony in North America. Ralph Lane angered the Indians with his harsh policies. He captured Indians for ransoms and planned more attacks on other colonies for more land. The natives fought back by killing on of the settlers. The rest of the colonist were forced to leave.
Many explorers that helped Ralph Lane Set up for his expedition went to go check on their progress. The tense relationship with the natives. The colonist left and when the explorers arrived they didn't find anyone. They did find some left overs from one of the bodies killed by the tomahawk. The body was found in pieces in different places.
Now we know that natives were capable of these horrific acts. Also we know they were capable of hiding bodies. After what Ralph and his colony did to the natives it would make sense for the natives to seek revenge. The leader of the Lost Colony John White returned back to England all houses and forts were torn down. May it was the natives?
