- Life of Billy bob the Plebeian during the rise of the Roman republic.
- In 509 B.C.E, Us Plebeians were just doing our main routine, sweeping, running shops, and other stuff. But then on one partly sunny Thursday afternoon, a group of Patricians led by somebody named Lucius Junius Brutus (I think) started rebelling the Etruscan king. And soon enough he got kicked out of rule and we got the power! But since those fancy Patricians think they are the best, they took all nice golden power. And we got NOTHING!

- So in 494 B.C.E, I and a bunch of other plebeians decided we did too much work. And we exited the city and we planned to stay there until we got some king treatment. After a while, some plebians started saying the city started getting shut down. And believe it or not, a high-ranked patrician came out and compromised.

- After that whole plebeian revolt thing, the results were AWESOME, I wished we thought of that earlier. We got some cool government stuff like Tribunes that are a part of the senate and we could create some laws for us plebeians. But even though that MIGHT sound great, we still had less power than those patricians, so we did a pretty good amount of protests to get our equal rights. And in 451 B.C.E got more cool stuff and we made it so the patricians cant change the laws that they make.
- Then in 367 B.C.E, a law was formed about consuls. And so there has to be ONE of the consuls have to be a plebeian, not just 2 patricians. This also meant plebeians could be in the senate! We keep getting more power.
- And then, the moment we have ALL been waiting for (well, at least just the plebeians), in 287 B.C.E, we FINALLY after 200 YEARS, got the power to make laws for plebeians AND the patricians. This was a HUGE accomplishment for us. To sum it up, 200 years of plebeians fighting rewarded us with 100% governmental equality.
