- The cousins were discovered on the battle feild(wounded form fighting Duke Theseus)and taken back to the Tower prison.Chracters:Arcite and Palamon. Setting:The tower prison.¨Take back to Athens, and lock them in the prison tower of my place¨-Duke Theseus
- Climax
- They see a girl whothey find beutiful while staring out the window they begin to fight over the girl. Then Arcite is banshed but set free he can never come back to Athens or he will be killed but he still ¨loves¨ Emily
- Falling Action
- Plamon looks out Emily everyday behind literal bars while Arcite is Pining for her at his home wishing he was in Palamons place. Arcite evntually can not dtand it and sneacks back to Athens to be a servant to emily.
- Resolution
- Palmon discover Arcite after escaping prison and they bothe are infuriated with eachother they begin to quarell and trying fighting which draws the hunting party to them with Duke theseus it he suggests a joust to settle their quarell the winner getting Emilys hand in marriage the other being killed.
- The juost begins and Arcite apears to be winning as he does though he falls off of his horse and is impaled by Plamons Lance.
- In the end since Arcite is dead Palamon gets to mary Emily but realizes that she isn really that much prettier than everyone else and he could have choosen another girl and his cousin would not have had to die for something like this.
