- The great depression started with the stock market crash of October 1929. This happened due to to people selling there stocks for less than it accually costed. This is what caused the stock market crash, and black tuesday
- How it started
- here are some good products that are less than they are in the regular market
- We are going to have to keep on lowering are prices to overpower these people
- By people selling there stocks the businesses no longer had any people to sell to so they went out of buisness. Soon after the banks closed. People lost their money and became homeless and ended up living in places called hoovervilles.
- People become homeless and out of money
- Why did i sell my stocks! Im homeless now!!!
- People got Angry and blamed others
- People started discriminating against the people who had just recently gotten good jobs. Women and the colored. It was mainly white men protesting.
- Black people coming over from the Great migration were supposed to be treated equal. But of course that was not carried out. Not the government but by the white people.

- Dust bowl
- People ended up living for a long time being homeless, and hungry. People blamed the government. And it all started because people sold their stocks.
- Living poor
- Also there was something going on called the dust bowl. This greatly impacted farmers because their farms had dust go over them. This made there also be a lack of food during the great depression
