- At a young age he needs to know that other people has it rights. Even though he do not know what is right and wrong. Like acting in his own self-interest.
- As a child must know what is right and wrong. He should think what his dad see him as a bad child if he do wrong. He might not know that making his brother cry is wrong. He should know that he will get in trouble by doing that.
- Giving negative consequence to reduce undesired behavior. It is a method of disciplining a child. Tends to follow the rules to avoid punishment .
