  • We should get power in the Republic!
  • Yes or No?
  • Bye!!!
  • Gosh, the plebeians are so annoying. Always trying to get power in the republic. Can't they understand that the government is not for them it should only be for certain people not for everyone? At least we still control the government.
  • In 509 BCE our people were able to overthrow the Etruscans. With this, we also created a new government called a republic. Now we are able to elect leaders to represent us. We the patricians are in charge of this new government and get to run things around here. There also is the other group of lower-level people called the plebeians but they don't have any power in this republic.
  • Well, today in 494 BCE the ungrateful Plebeians decided to leave Rome today. They left with all the other stupid plebeians and went to a nearby hill. They told us they would only come back if we met their demands of getting more power in the Republic. I don't know how we are going solve this
  • Now all Roman citizens have to listen to our laws!
  • After the revolt, we finally decided to agree to their terms and we are very graciously allowing them to elect officials called Tribunes of the Plebs. On top of that they wanted us to write down our laws so we can't change them, and being the very generous people we are we wrote them down. This was in 451 BCE.
  • Now in 367 BCE, the Plebeians have one of the two as one of their own. This also means that the plebs can also be part of the senate. This is because former consuls are a part of the senate which is very infuriating to me and others like me. The idiotic plebs are slowly becoming a part of our government which I really don't want to happen.
  • UGhh the manical plebs somehow got the right to pass laws in 287 BCE for all Roman citizens which include us! Now, assemblies of all Roman citizens, such as the Citizens' Association, could approve or reject laws. The stupid pleb councils also could now nominate the consuls, the tribunes, and the members of the Senate. We went from all the power to only part of it. This SUCKS.
