Chapter 9 After the rumble, Dally and Ponyboy visit to visit Johnny and tell him that they won the rumble. Johnny says fighting is useless, and dies.
Chapter 10 The same day Johnny died, Dallas died too. He robbed a store, and started running. He later pulled out a empty gun, and was shot. The Greasers lost two friends that night.
"But I have a right to see him. He's my son. After all the trouble his father and I've gone to to raise him, this is our reward: He'd rather see those no-count hoodlums than his own folks..."
The book ends with Ponyboy getting sick, going to court, and starting to recover. At the end, he gets bad grades in english, so his teacher tells him to right a semester theme. It turns out that this book was his semester theme report.....
"He killed Bob. Oh, maybe Bob asked for it. I know he did. But I couldn't ever look at the person who killed him."
Go meet Johnny. He's in the hospital.
Chapter 7 While waiting to check if Johnny and Dally were okay, the press started questioning Ponyboy. To stop them, Soda grabbed a camera mans press hat, and camera, and started mimicking them.
Chapter 8 As Ponyboy was leaving, after visting Johnny, they run into Johnnys mom. Johnny didn't want to see her. This made his mom mad.
Chapter 8 Ponyboy meets Cherry. Cherry says that the Socs are going to play fair In the rumble. She explains to Pony that they never meet the good side of Bob, and they only met him when he was drunk.
