  • Igneous
  • Weathering
  • Sedimentary
  • Hi there, as you can tell I'm a rock, but I'm not just any rock, I'm an igneous rock. The process started a little while age. I was shot out of the top of that volcano as lava, but am now cooled down to form a rock.
  • Metamorphic
  • Now, due to weathering I have turned into sediment, which is pretty much a fancy human word for broken down rock, or as I call it, dirt. Erosion has carried me here, to the edge of the sea, the waves are coming up and taking me chunk by chunk
  • Igneous
  • I'm a rock now! So far I have went through lava, sediment and I'm now finally a rock again. I washed up here last night, luckily it was a new moon, so the waves pushed me far enough up to not catch me again today. It's very hot here and it feels like I'm starting to melt, anyway I was put back together when I was in the water, I don't really know how, something called compaction and cementation.
  • Sediment
  • I am now a metamorphic rock. I have been sat on this beach for a long time now, and due to all the heat and pressure, I have been sat here slowly melting into a metamorphic rock.
  • I have turned back into magma and I just got shot out of the volcano and turned back into a Igneous rock. Now the process will restart.
  • Now somehow I ended up in this school and I am now shown to kids every day so they can look at me until one day one of the kids drops me of the desk and I break into smaller pieces slowly turning into sediment each time one of the butterfingers drops me.
