- The ocean is getting more acidic as we continue to put more and more co2 in the air by burning fossil fuels
- Scientists are studying how the ph levels are changing in recent times and they are finding out more as they go
- The coral is also being affected and is dying slowly so this is something to think about
- The ph levels in the ocean are rising by a lot and this isn't a good thing for some of the animals
- like the oyster that so many people like to eat the acid is dissolving their shell before they can fully produce
- In the long run of things the animals that need their hard shell to protect them are being affected
- If there is no reproduction the animal could go extinct in the future which wouldn't be good
- The acid is also causing a rise in the production of female oysters which isn't good because that means less reproducing
- So we can protect the animals of the sea in future time
- so in the future please try to think about what you can do to prevent this
