  • Character : Abigail WilliamsEmotions: Resentful and rejectedOutcome: Tragic Summary: All started with Abigail, Betty and the girls dancing naked. We later found out that Abigail drank blood and so we know that they were actually doing witchcraft, Abigail did it for the death of Elizabeth. She threatens the girls and forces them to follow her lead. We find out that she was working with Elizabeth and John Proctor, but Elizabeth kicked her out for the affair that she and John had. She leads on for the girls to add on her lies, to blame others in the town for being witches so that they wouldn’t suspect her. Her lies ended up killing many. She just left them to die.Analysis (WHY): She did these actions because of the jealousy that she had over Elizabeth having John.Final Takeaway: You don't always get exactly what you want

  • Character: John ProctorEmotions: guilty Outcome: Mournful Summary:He had an affair with Abigail. His wife found out and kicked her out. But this affair and the feelings he led Abigail to have caused him so much, because Abigail got him back with revenge and made his wife part of the witch trials after that he tried everything in his power to save her. In court he wanted Mary Warren to confess that Abigail made everything up along with the other girls. He confessed to the affair but Elizabeth lied for him. When he was confessing he didn’t name anyone, also didn’t want his name up to the church for witchcraft and that ended up killing him along with his wife.Analysis (WHY): He feels that everything is his fault, especially because he leads on Abigail.Final Takeaway: Appreciate what you have because you will always regret and always come out with the truth before it’s to late
