- Here, I give you this shield to help you defeat the Gorgon Medusa. The gods believe in you
- Thank you so much Athena!
- Thank you so much Hermes!
- Here, I give you a sword and i will guide you along your way!
- I did! And I will not give it back until you tell me where to find the nymphs
- WHO TOOK OUR EYE!!
- Perseus, the son of Zeus, was now given the task of killing the gorgon Medusa. Luckily the gods over heard and the goddess Athena appeared. With this she gave Perseus a shield to use as a mirror against Medusa.
- Then you shall bring me the head of Medusa!
- Alas, I am to poor to bring a gift for a ruler and his bride.
- Next, Hermes, The messenger of the gods appeared. He gave Perseus a sword to help him kill the gorgon Medusa and offered him his guidance.

- I will make sure that never happens! i will put them both in a wooden box and toss them into the ocean!
- You shall never have a son. furthermore, your daughter shall give birth to a son who shall take you life.
- Perseus traveled to the grey women, who shared one eye with each other. As they passed the eye around Perseus barged in and grabbed the eye. He demanded to know the location of the nymphs of the north.
- The oracle never lies! I must save myself!

- Pretending he was going to marry another princess, Polydectes asked each guest to bring a present. But when Perseus states that he is to poor to bring a gift Polydectes insist that Perseus slays Medusa and brings back her head as a gift. Polydectes plan was that Medusa would kill Perseus.
- Maybe this will get him out of the picture!
- KING Acrisius of Argos had a beautiful daughter named Danaë, but he was not satisfied with her, for he wanted a son. He visited the oracle at Delphi to find out if he would ever have a male child. To his dismay he was told, "You shall never have a son. Furthermore, your daughter shall give birth to a son who shall take your life." ouch - that's bad news.
- He ordered carpenters to make a large wooden chest. When it was finished, he put Danaë and Perseus in it and had it thrown into the sea.
