- I cannot sit here the whole ride listening to her scream!
- How much longer do we have in this car?
- You see that little ball in the water? That’s a buoyant force. Its where objects are repelled up and down by a liquid or a gas.
- We’re using one right now! Friction! Friction is a force objects use to move around slowly.
- Oh calm down. We only have 30 minutes left. And while we drive the last 30 minutes we can talk about contact and non contact forces.
- A non contact force is something like gravity! Gravity helps the car stay on the road and not float around. The more mass the stronger the gravity.
- Haha, did you know stretching a rubber band/hair tie is a example of an elastic force? Elastic force is when in this case a hair tie is stretched then returns to its normal stance.
- Since it’s your grandparents birthday you could rub a balloon on your hair. That’s an electrical force. It’s where electrons charge another object and they attract to each other.
- You know the magnetic toys you guys have? That’s an example of magnetic force. Magnetic force is when objects come towards each other if they have a genetic force.
- Now that we’re here whyy don’t you tell your grandparents what you learned?
