- A teenage girl named Cadence Sinclair went to her grandfather pirate island to spend her summer days with her group friend who also brought their family with them.

- Cadence and the group decided to meet up in the clairmont house,It was the main house on the island. A women named Tipper who was the wife of Harris sinclair who bought the island. Tipper die in that same house and the house became a symbol of greed .So for Cadence and the rest help to set the fire so Cady can be with Gat who she has a crush on could be together.

- Things went downhill Johnny,Mirren,Gat and the dog are stuck inside but Cadence is the only one who escape the fire. Once she was out the fire station and medics were called but Cadence friends couldn't be save. At the end she realize that she didn't need to burn the house down this whole time because she was the problem.

- At the pit fire the adults came together and begin to argue with Cadence while she was telling them what happened At the claremont house but they didn't believe her.
