- Iris. my daughter, please not right now okay? I don't have enough money to buy you a new cellphone.
- NO MOM! I want a new phone now!. All my classmates has the latest phone already! If you cant give it to me on my birthday, I wont forgive you.

- It was a normal day at the house of the Alonzo's, and as usual Lorin's daughter; Iris is whining and begging her mother for a new cellphone because she said her cellphone looks old already. But unfortunately the Alonzo family is not wealthy. And her father died when she was still 3 years old.
- Hello Mrs. Alonzo, I would like to tell you that you are still okay! You collapsed during your working hours because you got overfatigued and had fallen unconscious due to severe work conditions and tiredness....
- For the next few weeks, Lorin worked very hard everyday to give Iris what she wants. She keeps in mind that what she is doing will make her daughter happy.
- Dont worry about me Iris I am still fine and dont worry, I will still buy you your new cellphone okay?
- No mom, you don't need to buy me that okay? Lets just use it for your medication and other important things. I'm so sorry for being so selfish that I did not think of you and your health.

- As Iris' birthday is getting near, Lorin is getting weaker and ill every passing day unitl she collapsed one day during her work hours. She was brought to the nearest hospital and she was immediately treated. And one of her co-workers fetched Iris to bring her to her mom.
- Mom, you didn't have to! Thank you so much mom!
- No it's okay, I want you to be happy, if i could I would give you everything.
- Lorin woke up lying on the hospital bed, a doctor came in to tell her how she is. The doctor told Lorin about the medicines she needs to take and reminded her to take some time to rest

- Iris arrived at the hospital and saw her mother lying at the bed looking like a sick lady in need of rest, Iris suddenly felt guilty. She pity her mom because she looks so exhausted. Starting that day Iris took care of her mom and also stopped asking for material things.
- It is already Iris' birthday, Lorin prepared a celebration for her daughter. Iris was surprised because she didnt expect anything for her birthday. She was more surprised when her mother gave her the cellphone she wants. They hugged each other and Iris felt like it was her best day ever.
