- Part I
- At the beginning of the text Socrates and Glaucoma are talking about the people in jail with no knowledge
- Part I
- Then started talking about how the prisoners are dumb and all they know was shadows speak.
- Part II
- Then one of the prisoners escapes and when he leaves the cave his eyes hurt because they are not adjusted to the sun.
- Their in the cave
- Part II
- After that his eyes adjust to the sun and he begins to learn things. Such as that shadows are not just noises and is coming from the sun as a source of light

- Part III
- After all that he goes back to his friends to tell them what happened and what he saw and he tries to bring them
- He is out the cave
- Part III
- At the end they thought their friend was crazy and is trying to get them crazy so they were thinking what do do with him because he cant really see anymore in the cave in the darkness.
- He is out the cave
- He is going back in the cave
- He is back in the cave with the other prisoners.
