- Hi, today I will be giving you some information on volcanoes!
- Here are some main parts of the volcano
- Magma Chamber: The magma chamber is a gateway from the mantle to the volcano and all of the magma is store in here.
- Pipe: this is kind of like the volcano's plumbing system. It has direct contact to the main vent and the magma chamber.
- Most of us know that when a volcano erupts there is a lava flow: moving current of lava after it has spewed out of the volcano.
- Sometimes along with the lava flow there can be a Pyroclastic flow: a cloud of smoke, ashes, it is mostly just volcanic matter turned into gas. It can be deadly.
- There are also different types of volcanoes. Some can be extinct which means it never will erupt and it never has. A dormant volcano is a volcano that has never blown up but it is likely to in the future, and an active volcano is one that has erupted in the past and is very likely to erupt again.
