- Austin´s Arrest
- The Mexican government sent General Manuel Mier y Teran to report on the state of affairs in Texas. Mier y Teran sent back a strong warning that a revolution was growing.
- Battle Of Gonzales
- The law of April 6th was a law that was supposed to stop the heavy immigration to texas, as they didn't have enough supplies and money.
- Battle At The Alamo
- Austin had created a letter to the texans. The letter was intercepted by the government in San Antonio leading to Austin's arrest on the grounds
- Battle Of San Jacinto
- Growing tensions between Mexico and Texas came into violence when Mexican soldiers attempt to disarm the people of Gonzales, sparking the Texan war for independence.
- Once the battle alamo had started, the fighting lasted about 90 minutes, and by day, all the Defenders had been killed, including a former congressman, David Crockett. The loss of the garrison was felt all over Texas, and even the world.
- The battle of San Jacinto was a success for Texas as they were able to successfully capture Mexico in their territory and win the battle, capturing every man and killing them along with Santa anna.
