- hi my name is bill and I study economic systems and I'm going to be showing how my favorite one works and its advantages and its disadvantages . that is why I build a time machine to back and teach you all about this economy. let's go back in time!!!
- Right here is a perfect example using that ear of corn. in this economy things like fresh meat from hunting, berries from gathering, and corn from farming, like you see here, are produced. their are people in every tribe that would have their own job to produce these items. all of this is produced for the tribe and your family. lets ask these people about the advantages and disadvantages to their economy.
- here is the corn I just harvested for dinner tonight.
- hey I saw you earlier harvesting that corn and I was wondering of you could tell me a little but more about the advantages of your economy.
- hey! Of course a great thing about our economy is that their is very little fighting between the people because their is not competition. this is because everybody has their own job. that is another good part about out economy everyone has their own defined job that helped the community. the last thing is that everyone understands what they are doing and that they have to do their job to survive.
- thanks for the information. one last question what are the disadvantages to your economy.
- for sure! their are disadvantages to all economy especially ours. one thing is that it doesn't allow for growth and development and all changes take a ling time. another bad thing is that once your born into a role you can't change and that create very little social mobility. the last things are that their is no use of technology and you have to have the right environment to make it work and people can't control that.
