Storyboard Text

  • Arrival of the police, a policewoman and a policeman. Christopher describes them to the moment when the policewoman took Mrs. Shears back to her home, in whose garden her dog Wellington was dead. 
  • EXPOSITION
  • The policeman begins questioning Christopher with tough questions, inferring from his answers and behavior that he is responsible for the death of his neighbor's dog, so he conducts his accusation.
  • CONFLICT
  • I did not kill the dog.
  • I like dogs
  • Did you kill the dog?”
  • Why were you holding the dog?
  • After hearing too many questions in such a short time, Christopher was blocking himself like a bread-cutting machine does when the loaves are piled up. Christoper previously said he didn't understand when people spoke fast. 
  • RISING ACTION
  • No

  • You seem very upset about this
  • The policeman gave Christopher an ultimatum to respond "sincerely" to his question, but due to the buildup of pressure, Christoper decided to roll back on the grass, press his head and moan to feel safe. 
  • CLIMAX
  • I am going to ask you once again…
  • The policeman grabbed Christopher's arm and lifted him on his feet.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Because Christopher disliked being touched like this, he decided to hit the policeman and remove the obstacle.
