- The image is showing how the Louisiana purchase really happened. Here is the french on the right and the Americans on the left trying to negotiate the purchase in 1803.

- This place is a desert just like the sahara
- Here us Lewis and Clark two American explorers that explore the Louisiana purchase. After they do purchase it lewis and Clark explored the purchase and went through a place we know today as Kansas. They say that Kansas looks like a long forest with lots of dears.

- He was the first American to travel the territory by land. He thought Kansas was worthless and was a desert.

- Just like pike, he explained that Kansas was a wasteland desert very much like the Sahara as he described it.He also traveled by steambot.
- As Jackson said in his speech he called Indians savages. And he wanted to move them to that land in Kansas because the land sucks and he wanted the good land the Indians had.
- Because of the description of Kansas Jackson did not want white people to move to those badlands for farms. Forced east American Indians to move to Kansas.
