- Great! Now, any ideas for the research topic?

- Actually, I wanted to do it on the impact of video games on teenagers.
- Actually, yes! That sounds good.
- How about we compromise? We can do the impact of technology as a whole on teenagers. Then we can include both social media and teenagers in our argument.
- Avoidance:The students could have thought of a completely new idea for their research topic and avoided the conflicted topics.Win/Lose:The leader could have chose one of the two topics suggested. In this, one of the students would win while the other loses.Compromise:Similar to what is shown in the comic strip, the research topic chosen incorporates both ideas so both students are okay with it.
